Ken and Brenda Goodenberger Bio
Ken and Brenda Goodenberger are versatile singers whose repertoire includes Broadway,
pop, sacred music and opera. They were featured in concert with the West Valley
Symphony and can be seen performing The Ken and Brenda Show in numerous venues
around the valley. Ken is the resident tenor of OperaTunity, an Arizona District Winner of
the Metropolitan Opera Competition and a frequent soloist with the Phoenix Symphony. He
is an ariZoni winning Musical Director, the Music Director at Shepherd of the Hills United
Methodist Church, and Artistic Director of The West Valley Chorale. Brenda is a four time
ariZoni nominated make-up/hair designer, the director of the Cherubim Choir and the lead
soprano with the praise team at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. In addition to
performing together in numerous Theater Works’ productions, Mr. and Mrs. Goodenberger
sing together as part of The Royal Renaissance Singers, Shir Ami Choir, and have
toured Europe where they sang with the St. Thomas Aquinas Schola. They were both
most recently seen performing together in Sondheim's A Little Night Music at Theater
Works. Ken maintains a private voice studio, and he and Brenda live in Glendale. They have
nine talented children and three beautiful grandchildren.
